Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

Within the last three years, from 1st October 2015 until 1st October 2018, how many road traffic incidents across Northumbria have involved either a Deliveroo driver, cyclist or moped rider?

 I would appreciate if your response could include the date of the incident, location, type of vehicle involve, the severity of the incident (injuries/fatalities) and if further action was taken.

We have now had the opportunity to fully consider your request and I provide a response for your attention.

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Corporate Development Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police.

The results for searches made of the Central database for the keyword ‘Deliveroo’  that fit the criteria of your request are as follows

 

24/05/2016 -    Benwell/Elswick - Motorcycles causing a nuisance - Deployed to address but no motorbikes in the vicinity

16/07/2016 -    Central - Seat Ibiza and a motorcycle - No further action taken

23/09/2018 -     Central - Combi van and cyclist - British Transport Police dealing
