Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')
As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.
You asked:
1) Please can you tell me how many PCSO’s were fired from your police force for engaging in criminal activity (by this I mean being arrested, being charged, being fined, or in any way breaking the law) for the years:
a. 2014
b. 2015
c. 2016
d. 2017
e. 2018 so far
2) If possible within the cost limit, can you indicate for the answers to Q1a-e what broad category of crime the PCSO’s were fired for?

We have now had the opportunity to fully consider your request and I provide a response for your attention.
Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Professional Standards Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is not held by Northumbria Police. As there have been no such occurrences we hold no information.
