Date Responded 07 July 2021

Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

1. The total number of police officers convicted of a criminal offence since January 1, 2017 to June 24, 2021?
2. Can you also please tell me the rank of the officer
3. and the offence(s) they were convicted of?
4. Of that figure, how many lost their jobs over their offending?

Can I please get a year-by-year breakdown of these convictions?
