Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')
As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.
Covering the past three calendar years and available data for this year - 2017, 2016, and 2015 and the year-to-date for 2018.
1) How many children (those aged under 18) in this time period have been arrested on suspicion of:
A) Arson endangering life
B) Arson not endangering life
Please provide the ages of those arrested: for example X number of 10-year-olds, X number of 11-year-olds, and so on to include all those aged under 18. There should be no issue with "identification".
2) Please also provide the number of those aged under 18 who were charged with both offences in the same time period. Please also provide the ages of those charged.
3) Please provide the total number of adults (18 and over) arrested on suspicion of both offences in the same time period.
4) Please also provide the total number of adults charged with the offences in the same time period
