Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

I am after the following information between 01/01/2016 - 19/08/2020.

  1. The amount of times the police have been contacted due to anti social behaviour on the Southfields estate in Morpeth.
  2. I would also like to know how much this has cost the police dealing with such issues.

In Response:

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with both the Corporate Development and Finance Departments of Northumbria Police.  I can confirm that the information you have requested is held, in part, by Northumbria Police.

I am able to disclose the located information to you as follows.

  1. We are unable to conduct our searches specifically to the Southfields Estate as we do not have a boundary to work upon.  However, we are able to supply figures for the footbeat which contains the Southfields Estate, and as such can advise during the period specified by your request, we have been contacted 1,586 times regarding ASB within that footbeat.
  2. No information held.  Dealing with such issues forms part of an Officers normal day to day duties and as such is not costed separately.
