Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

1. I would like a record of how many cases there has been for burglaries, criminal damage to property and hate crimes for the year of 2019.
2. As well as the number of reports I’d also like to know the average response time for an officer to attend the scene for each of the above crimes.
3. Finally I’d like the average time taken for each type of crime to be considered closed, and the percentage of cases that have resulted in prosecution.

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted within Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held in part by Northumbria Police.
