Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

I would like information on the following, from January 1, 2019, to December 31, 2019, and then the same information for the same calendar year of 2020.

1. How many reports of domestic abuse, both resulting in injury and not resulting in injury, have you received? Please could this be broken down month-by-month, as well as a total for both years?

2. How many domestic abuse-related arrests have been made? Please could this be broken down month-by-month, as well as a total for both years?

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Corporate Development Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police.
