Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

1  The number of reports of domestic abuse, allegedly perpetrated by police officers, community support officers, or staff members employed by your force, received by your force for each financial year (April 1 to the following March 31) from 2015-2020. I would please like this to cover both domestic abuse related incidents and offences

And for each report

2  A brief description of the alleged wrongdoing without any personal information (if you can provide this)

3  The outcomes of both the misconduct case and any criminal case

4  Whether the report was referred to IPOC

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Professional Standards Department of Northumbria Police.  I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police.

I am able to disclose the located information to you as follows with the caveats below noted.

The  information provided has been extracted from a ‘live’ database and may be subject to the addition and deletion of complaints, complainants and subjects after the initial extraction of data used for the purposes of this request.
