Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')
As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.
You asked:
How many men and women in same sex relationships were victims of domestic violence (inflicted by their partner, girlfriend, wife, husband, boyfriend, lover, ex-lover, ex-husband, ex-boyfriend, ex-girlfriend, ex-partner)
I would like updated figures up until the 31st December 2017 - I think that the figures you kindly provided me with earlier this year went up until the 7th August (I believe this included the 7th in the stats?)
Essentially, I would like stats from the 8th August 2017 ( or from the 7th if the 7th hasn’t been included) up until the 31st December 2017 please?
In Response:
We have now had the opportunity to fully consider your request and I provide a response for your attention.
Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Corporate Development Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police.

With the above in mind, I am able to disclose the located information to you as follows.
