Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

I am looking for information on whether the number of domestic abuse incidents in your force area increased during the 2018 men's football World Cup.

1. Please detail how many total incidents of domestic abuse were reported between 14 June 2018 and 15 July 2018, inclusive of both dates to make 32 days in total.

2. For comparison, please detail how many total incidents of domestic abuse were reported in the equivalent period preceding the World Cup - 13 May 2018 to 13 June 2018, inclusive of both dates to make 32 days in total.

3. If possible, please detail how many incidents of domestic abuse were reported on each individual day of the World Cup period, 14 June 2018 to 15 July 2018 inclusive, so I can see if there was any increase around England games specifically.
