Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

  1. Please tell me how many times the force was alerted to cannabis offences in schools in a) 2019 to date b) 2018 c) 2017, d) 2016
  2. If possible, please tell me how many of these offences related to the dealing of cannabis in a) 2019 to date b) 2018 c) 2017 d) 2016
  3. Please tell me how many of the cannabis offences in question 1. involved children aged 11 or under for each of the years a) 2019 to date, b) 2018, c) 2017, d) 2016
  4. Please tell me how many of the cannabis offences relating to the dealing of cannabis in question 2. involved children aged 11 or under for each of the years a) 2019 to date, b) 2018, c) 2017, d) 2016

As advised earlier this request has been aggregated with your previous request, FOI 761/19 refers, with regards to time constraints under the Act, as they relate to the same subject area.

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Corporate Development Department of Northumbria Police.  I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police.
