Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

Please tell me for each of the following CALENDAR years a) 2014 b) 2015 c) 2016 d) 2017 d) 2018 how many firearms offences committed by suspects under the age of 10 have been recorded by police.

For each case, please tell me a) the sex of the child b) the age of the child c) the offence committed, e.g. robbery, possession of a firearm etc d) a summary of the incident.

In Response:

Using the Crimsec 30 data, (gun crime return for the Home Office) and the disposals table to get the date of birth from which we calculate the age of the offender at the time the crime was reported, there have been no firearms offences where the offender was recorded as being under the age of 10.
