Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

1. How many GPS (Global Positioning System) screens, domes and satellite guidance systems have been stolen from tractors and other agricultural vehicles in 2020 and in 2021 to date?

2. How many people have been arrested and convicted of the theft of GPS screens, domes and satellite guidance systems from tractors and agricultural vehicles in 2020 and in 2021 to date?

In Response:

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Corporate Development Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is not held by Northumbria Police. Searches made of Thefts from Motor Vehicles were searched then further searches were made of the crime numbers to review any property that was recorded as stolen. This data was then refined to relevant groups and the resulting items reviewed to find any that were stolen from vehicles specific to your submission. There were no such returns and therefore we can assume that no such items have been reported as stolen. As no such items had been reported stolen, no arrests have been.
