Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')
As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.
You asked:
For the period from 01.08.2019 to the 06.08.20 can you please provide the total number of incidents the Police attended to in the street named Hedgeley Road, Hebburn?
Can you please provide the date of the incident and the nature of the visit. Eg.burglary, anti social behaviour, domestic violence, etc.
In Response:
Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Corporate Development Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police.
To note – we have revisited our earlier response to you and our researchers have now included all incidents including those linked to houses in the street and not literally taken ‘in the street’ to restrict their searches to the street area only. Because of this the figures will differ from our previous response to you.
You should note that house to house enquiries by officers to gather information or to take witness statements does not generate an incident being recorded. The incident will only be recorded as the initial notification as made to the police and not the further enquiries that may be generated by that incident.
With regards to your previous queries ASB Non Vulnerable would be defined as antisocial behaviour wherein a vulnerable person is not involved, Crime - Generic would be any crime that is not otherwise categorised.
