Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

I would like to know the following under the FOI act. Breakdown of gadgets e.g. laptops, tablet computers, phones or Police equipment reported lost or stolen to your organisation over the last three financial years. FY 16-17, FY 17-18 and FY 18-19.

Please note this is gadgets reported by Police staff e.g. officers or office teams.

Please break detail down by financial year and device e.g.

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with both the ICT and Corporate Development Departments of Northumbria Police.  I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police.

I am able to disclose the located information to you as follows.

As you requested information with regards to “devices”, we have taken this to be camera, electrical counters, phones, etc as per the information supplied below.  We have not included such items as clothing, keys etc.
