Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

Please provide information related to the following requests:

1) How many Threat to Life warnings (so called Osman Warnings) has your force issued in 2017 (or nearest appropriate annual metric))?

2) How many of such Threat to Life Warning has your force issued to those 18 and under within the same time frame?

3) Can disclose the gender breakdown of those who received those respective warnings?

In Response:

With regards to point 1.  Northumbria Police only considers full calendar year level as being suitable to disclose down to relating to Threat to Life warnings and therefore that is what we have provided.  The below therefore relates to the year 2017.

To note, on this occasion we have considered no harm in providing the information requested, however this may not be the case should similar further submissions be made.
