Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

  1. provide the number of incidents that have the word 'satanic' included in them between 2006 and present day.
  2. provide the number of crimes that have the word 'satanic' included in them between 2013 and present day.
  3. if possible could you also provide a brief description of each incident/crime.

In Response:

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Corporate Development Department of Northumbria Police.  I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police.

I am able to disclose the located information to you as follows.

  3. Confused regular caller claims his neighbour has a satanic statement written on his ceiling.

Confused caller reports satanic activity including child abduction and abuse in several locations around Newcastle and London revealed to him by god.

Poss racial graffiti. Saying something about satanic and burning according to caller. Caller couldn't remember what graffiti reads.

Confused caller stating staff are performing satanical rites and he can smell alcohol.

Caller  has attended  front office stating he believes there is witch craft and satanic activity ongoing at civic centre.

Caller has received a letter regarding an allegation of child sex abuse & satanic rituals.

Confused caller reports she has experienced satanic behaviour all day - she cannot explain how ; appears very confused.

Concern for tenant. She has dropped a letter through the door rambling & making various satanic statements.

Threats received caller joined a group on facebook for the 'satanic temple'. Caller states she had decided to leave the group after they asked her for money.
