Please could you tell me how many reports of sexual harassment cases have been reported in Gym's across your area in the years 2018,2019,2020 and 2021

We have now had the opportunity to fully consider your request and I provide a response for your attention.
Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Corporate Development Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police.
I am able to disclose the located information to you as follows.
• The data has been taken where the location was one of the following: 'Gymnasium', 'Health Club', 'Sports Club', 'Changing room' or 'Sauna' and the offence type was one of the following: Harassment, Other serious sexual offences, Other sexual offences or Rape.
• The data was then reviewed to find those that happened in a “gymnasium” and those offences that were not sexual or happened remotely (i.e. via social media) were removed.
