Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Corporate Development Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police.
I am able to disclose the located information to you as follows.
The data has been taken from the central database using the crime and victim tables where the offence type included the word 'sexual' or 'rape'.
There were 736 offences where the victims date of birth was not recorded so their age could not be determined and therefore not included in the figures.
