Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

  1. I am looking for a crime statistic breakdown of different crimes reported in Sunderland city centre. Primarily: Holmeside, Vine Place, Green Terrace, Albion Place, Stockton Road, Borough Road, and the adjoining streets. Between the months of June 2018 - June 2019.
  2. Also, could I have the figure of arrests for these locations during the same time frame.

The information provided is the number of crimes committed in sector A1 - Sunderland City Centre. Also included are the number of arrests where the offence was committed within sector A1 and the arrest was between June-18 and June-19. These are not linked to the attached crimes and may relate to offences committed outside of the specified period.
