Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

Please could you provide me with a list of unsolved murders which have taken place within the force area between 1960 and 2020? Please include for each case;

1. the name of the victim
2. the victims age
3. the date of offence
4. the location of offence
5. a brief description of the offence
6. Whether any arrests have ever been made in connection with the offence.

In Response:

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Crime Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police.
