Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

“1) Could you please provide a breakdown of all costs associated with a reported abduction in Felling on July 20. If it helps locate informations on the logs, this is the reference number which was provided at the time of the incident: 1091 200719.

2) Please provide a total cost AND an itemised breakdown for each category (e.g, staffing costs, cost of deploying the helicopter etc.)

3) Please could you set out this information in a spreadsheet.”

We have now had the opportunity to fully consider your request and I provide a response for your attention.

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted within the Finance Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is not held by Northumbria Police. Northumbria police does not specifically calculate cost or budget for the policing of missing or absent persons on an individual basis.
