- What estimate the force has made of the total cost of the first year police officer recruitment target set by the Home Office, and whether the funding provided through the spending review to the force meets that cost.

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Finance Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held, in part, by Northumbria Police.

- Information not held. The Force does not have a per capita total cost of employing a Police Officer, including the categories specified.
- Funding is sufficient to achieve the first year target for Police Officer recruitment set by the Home Office.
