Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

  1. Please state the total amount of overtime pay that was paid out by your force to its police officers for the financial year (a) 2019/20 and (b) 2020/21.
  2. Please state the total amount of overtime pay received in the last financial year (20/21) for the officer who received the most in overtime pay. Please state if the officer was a constable or a sergeant and in which department they worked. (Note the answer should give the rank of the officer (constable) and just his/her total annual overtime pay remembering to EXCLUDE other types of pay)
