Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

Please can you provide me with the following information relating specifically to the most recent police constable transferee recruitment campaign which commenced from September 2019.

I would like the following information:

  1. The number of applications that Northumbria Police received for the transferee campaign until it was removed from the Northumbria Police website.
  2. The number of applicants that were successful and unsuccessful at the paper sifting stage.
  3. The number of applicants that were successful at the interview stage and were given conditional offers to join Northumbria Police as a transferee and the number of number of unsuccessful applicants at this stage.

For each of the points please can you break down the number of applicants at each stage (successful and successful) by individual police forces.

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the People Services Department of Northumbria Police.  I can confirm that the information you have requested is held, in part, by Northumbria Police.
