Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')
As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.
Facebook dictates that company pages need to be managed by real profiles.
Can you please tell me how you manage your corporate Facebook page and whether the team use duplicate/secondary accounts (rather than their real profile) to manage their Facebook page.
Can you please tell me what platform you use to manage social media content (i.e Hootsuite Planner, Trello) or any other platforms and if so, what ISO accreditation this platform holds.

To note, on this occasion we see no harm in disclosing, however If more detailed requests are submitted, they may attract exemptions under the Act, particularly if disclosure could compromise the integrity of Force information security.
Northumbria Police use Business Manager to access our Corporate Facebook page. No secondary or duplicate accounts are used.
The Force use Hootsuite to manage social media channels. Hootsuite use Amazon Web Services for its production data centre. AWS is ISO 27017 for cloud security, ISO 27018 for cloud privacy, SOC 1, SOC 2 and SOC 3, PCI DSS Level 1, and others.
