Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

For the years 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 (01 Jan- 31 Dec, or 01 Jan - 01 Dec for 2018) please could you provide me with the following:

  1. The number 999 calls to your police force for each of the years above
  2. The number of 101 calls to your police force for each of the years above
  3. The number of abandoned 999 calls to your police force for each of the years above
  4. The number of abandoned 101 calls to your police force for each of the years above
  5. The number of inappropriate/misplaced (however you classify it) 999 calls to your police force for each of the years above.
  6. The number of Hoax 999 calls (deliberate or malicious) made to your force for each of the years above
  7. A list of the subjects of inappropriate/misplaced/improper calls (q5) made in 2018 (if held).
