Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

  1. How many requests were made to your force under Clare’s Law in 2017/2018?
  2. Can you give me same the information for the 12 months previous to that (2016/2017)?
  3. Can you please break the numbers down into "right to ask" and "right to know"
  4. How many of these requests went past stage one
  5. How many reached stage two (face to face meeting)
  6. How many reached stage three (disclosure?)

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Safeguarding Department of Northumbria Police.  I can confirm that the information you have requested is held, in part, by Northumbria Police.
