Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

- The number of officers/staff in attendance at the aforementioned event.
- The cost of policing the national demonstration held by members of the English Defence League (EDL), dated 24/09/16 held at 2pm in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
- The number of officers/staff in attendance at the aforementioned event.

We have now had the opportunity to fully consider your request and I provide a response for your attention.
Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Force Resilience Unit of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held in part by Northumbria Police.
1. & 3. We do not hold the total cost of policing demonstrations.
Work by Officers and Staff is undertaken as part of their normal duties and these normal hours costs are not recorded on an individual operation basis.
