Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')
As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.
Please can you tell me how many meetings a Chief Constable or his deputy in your force has had with a representative of the Countryside Alliance in the last ten years and what was discussed.
We have now had the opportunity to fully consider your request and I provide a response for your attention.
Executive Support have conducted searches in relevant databases, spreadsheets and diaries they currently have access to, and are unable to find any invites or attendance at Countryside alliance meetings by the Chief Constable or Deputy Chief Constable.
It should be noted however that this should not be taken that such meetings have never taken place as information may no longer be available due to system changes/data cleansing.
