Date Responded 13 August 2020

Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

Please disclose a log of all the incidents dealt with between 6am on Saturday July 4 and 6am on Sunday July 5 in the NE1 postcode.
For each incident, please disclose the incident as it was reported to the force.
I.E 'Caller claims a man has kicked a woman in her 20s outside Mushroom bar'.
Please also disclose the time and what action was taken (i.e. arrest, NFA)

In Response:

We have now had the opportunity to fully consider your request and I provide a response for your attention.

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Corporate Development Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police.

As our logs are based on the force sector, rather than postcode, our searches have been carried out on the Sector of the force that relates to Newcastle City Centre, rather than the NE1 postcode.
It should also be noted that to avoid exemptions being applied to withhold, a summary of the Log has been provided.
Incidents have been defined as a report made by a member of the public to police.

With the above noted I can provide the information as attached.
