‘I am writing to request information about the level of risk assigned to missing persons cases on the initial report in your police force area. I would like to be provided with data for the calendar year

In Response:
We have now had the opportunity to fully consider your request and I provide a response for your attention.

To note, and as further explanation, the cases of children 0-9 recorded in the ‘Low risk’ table are correctly categorised due to information know by the police at the time. This includes recorded in error- not actually missing, incorrect date of birth on recording system, moved from area, and delay in return from holiday.
