Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')
As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.
You asked:
1. Number of officers signed off on long-term sickness due to mental health in 2015, 2016, 2017 and up to now in 2018. 28 days and over will be fine in this instance.
2. Is there a certain amount of time that first responders to terrorist incidents are given off? If so, how long is required and what is the returning back to work policy? More specifically, incidents such as the Manchester Arena bombing, West Minster Bridge attack, London Bridge attack, Finsbury Park and Parsons Green. These are just examples, if there have been any similar incidents in Northumbria, what is the policy for first responders.
3. Finally, were any Northumbria Police Officers drafted in to help with the Grenfell Tower Fire as first responders? Was there a certain amount of time that they were given off? If so, how long what was the returning back to work policy for that incident? If none of your Officers were drafted in, what would be your returning back to work policy for this type of incident?
