Date Responded 12 October 2021

Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

Can I ask for copies of any current unconscious bias training materials, either held on internal web systems/databases, or used as part of training courses and held in a retrievable format?

These could be power point presentations, PDFs, Word documents or similar style materials which are used as part of current unconscious bias training courses, or which are held for staff to access on internal web systems or computer databases.

In Response:

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Training Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is not held by Northumbria Police.
