Date Responded 19 March 2019

Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

The number of incidents you have responded to where "YouTube", "You Tube" or "utube" was mentioned on the callout record as part of the incident, in each calendar year from 1st January 2017 to 31st December 2018 inclusive, broken down by calendar year (ie. a single number for the whole of 2017, and a single number for the whole of 2018)

In Response:

We are only able to search the first three lines of the incident description.  It is possible that one of the keywords may feature later in the incident description but if so, that incident will not be captured in this dataset. This is based on a keyword search so it is possible that incidents will be included that are not specifically linked to You Tube.

With the above in mind please see the below

2017 – 35

2018 – 37
