Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

Could you please inform me of the Speed Setting on the Urban Cameras within your force area. This should include the plus or minus speed of camera setting of standard 30 mph.

This allows for incorrect settings of speedometer of vehicles

There is a tolarence of 3% of the speed limit + 2MPH of guidelines. I request the tolerance your cameras are set at.

Northumbria Police operate a 10% + 2 policy on all speed limits enforced for both Mobile and Fixed cameras.
