Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

1 a. For the period of August 1, 2017 to July 31, 2018, how many vehicles not registered in the UK were caught speeding by Northumbria Police                                                                            b.For those caught in that period, how many were charged?

2.What was the highest speed a vehicle not registered in the UK was recorded at by Northumbria Police in the same period?

3a. Excluding the UK, which countries were vehicles caught speeding by Northumbria Police for the same period registered to?                                                                                                           b For each country, how many were caught in total in the same period?

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Fixed Penalty Unit of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held in part by Northumbria Police.
