Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

3. The total number of offences recorded in the police force area by a speed camera or from an officer's speed radar where a motorist was found to be going at or over 100mph,  for three years - 2017, 2018 and 2019 - please can the data be provided separately for each year
4. If possible, for each offence recorded at point 1, I would like to know the location of the offence, what the speed limit on the road was, the driver’s age, the make and model of the vehicle and the gender of the driver
5. The top five speeds recorded in the police force area for 2019, including what the speed limit was, the location of the offence, the driver’s age, the make and model of the vehicle, and gender.

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Criminal Justice Unit of Northumbria Police.  I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police.

I am able to disclose the located information to you as follows.

To note the information has been presented in a way which avoids exemptions being applied to withhold, ie it should not be assumed that the order of the ages or speeds can be associated with the vehicle details as this is not the case.
