Carrying on the continued success of Northumbria Police’s ongoing recruitment drive, officers across Northumberland are hosting a number of recruitment events to give potential candidates a chance to speak to those already in the role and see if tackling crime and bringing down criminals is something for them.

Currently Northumbria Police are reaching out to those individuals passionate about helping others and protecting the vulnerable to become part of the policing family.

This week officers in Northumberland will be hosting two events to speak to those thinking of joining and answer any questions about the role.

One event is being hosted on Tuesday (February 18), at Coquetvale Hotel, on Station Road in Rothbury. The other is in Bardon Mill on Thursday (February 20), at Twice Brewed Inn.

Policing offers competitive benefits like healthcare and pension provision and the salary progression means that officers could be earning a basic salary of over £40,000 in just seven years.
